How we started
Mobility Independence started over lunch. Peter was talking with Craig, who has worked in the aged care and disability industry for more than 25 years, about how hard it can be for people to find mobility equipment that is light, reliable and easy to live with. By the end of that conversation, we had decided to do something about it.
Today we’re based in Penrith, in Western Sydney. We stock a focused range of folding power wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walkers and lifts, chosen because they make getting out and about easier: light enough to lift into a car boot, simple to use, and built to last.
Craig’s years in the industry shape how we work. We take the time to understand what you need, explain the options in plain language, and help you choose the right equipment for you or the person you care for.
